Michael Hopkins is a Vice President of Life Insurance Sales for Brokers’ Service Marketing Group (BSMG). In this role, Mike partners with prominent, top ranked agents and financial professionals and their clients. Specializing in risk management, he provides point of sale support and guidance in the areas of product selection, field underwriting, case design, estate planning and more.

Prior to joining BSMG, Mike held several positions in the insurance industry. He began his career in 2002 at MassMutual collaborating to implement the large case unit. Subsequently, Mike joined AIG as the youngest Regional Director responsible for several high profile national accounts. In this role he bridged the relationship between AIG and their Brokerage General agencies. Most recently, Mike was a partner at Northeast Brokerage for 9 years where he excelled as a leading producer for the firm.

Mike’s expertise extends heavily into the advanced sales world of premium financing, case design and product comparison, and the application of life insurance in business. Mike has developed a niche skillset in large case implementation. He brings with him extensive industry knowledge and experience. Mike is enthusiastic and eager to work with BSMG, promoting their innovative platforms and solutions, as part of one of the most experienced and knowledgeable case management and case design teams in the industry.

Mike has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a finance degree from Grove City College. He has a CLU certification and is FINRA registered. Mike lives in Suffield CT with his wife and three sons, in his spare time he enjoys golfing and woodworking.
