Knowing S, C, and LLC Means $

In March of 2013 InsuranceNewsNet Magazine featured Russell Towers’ article “Knowing S, C, and LLC Means $”. The Internal Revenue Service released information collected from 1980 through 2008 about business tax returns. This article focuses on the four categories of business entities and provides an explanation for each. These four categories are: S Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Sole Proprietorships, and C Corporations. One observation is that LLCs and S Corps have become the legal entities of choice for both small and large ‘Main Street America” business owners.
