IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING GENWORTH ANNUITIES

Effective 11.11.2011, Genworth will require NEW product specific training courses to be completed PRIOR to soliciting annuity business in the following states: CO, D.C., IA, MD, NJ, NY, ND, OH, OK, OR, RI, SC, TX, WV and WI.

This applies to all producers soliciting annuity business in the above states, regardless of previous product training (if you've completed the training prior to 11.11.2011, you MUST complete the new training prior to solicitation). The product training can be completed by using the following link: www.genworth.com/annuityproducertraining.

Applications taken in the above states dated 11.11.2011 and later will be returned if the proper training has not been completed prior to the application signed date.

The product training courses are product specific; please complete the application course for the product you will be soliciting. The course completion information is transmitted to Genworth electronically, so there is no need to remit copies of the completion certificates.
